Mr Clarke is a financial consultant, who was appointed to the Board of Sagicor Life Jamaica in October, 2012. He is a director of Sagicor Financial Corporation and several other companies with the Group, including Sagicor Life Inc., Sagicor Asset Management Trinidad and Tobago Ltd., Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited and Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited. He is a former Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange and a former director of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

 He is the holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yale University and a law degree from Downing College, Cambridge University.
